Description

Upper fur grey with tinges of reddish brown. Although this reddish fur can look very red at times it is never uniform as on a Red Squirrel. In winter the coat is much thicker and greyer


Widespread thoughout the county recorded in 27 out of 35 hectads (26 since 2010) although very poorly recorded away from towns and villages .
